Despite their promising start, the band disbanded just a few years into the 1990s, and the members went their separate ways. Life took them in completely different directions—one became a tattoo artist, another a headmaster, a third a photographer, and one stayed in the music industry as one of Sweden’s most established songwriters.

It could have been the end for one of Sweden’s many local rock hopefuls... but the band members always stayed in close contact. So close that, three decades after the split, they decided to awaken the band from its rock slumber and, nearly 30 years later, released their debut album "Kids In A Ghost Town". NESTOR was back.

The album was praised by both critics and fans and earned a Grammis nomination in the Hard Rock/Metal category – quite the comeback! And the comeback continues. Last year they released "Teenage Rebel", which was met with a warm reception, and once again NESTOR is nominated for a Grammis for Best Hard Rock/Metal. Last summer saw them perform several major gigs, most notably at Sweden Rock and a completely sold-out Cirkus in Stockholm.

NESTOR turns back the clock while being one of the hottest names in modern rock, with millions of streams on Spotify. They’ve shared the stage with some of rock’s greatest pioneers, including Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, and Europe. On 1 August, it’s time for an unforgettable night of rock and roll with the Furuvik crowd—welcome!
