Cecilia Martin-Löf has long been recognized as one of the foremost choral conductors of her generation in Sweden. Renowned both nationally and internationally for her exceptional musicality, warm approach, and keen sense of choral tones and textures, she has increasingly focused on the symphonic repertoire in recent years. In May 2023, she completed her master’s degree in orchestral conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Over the past year, she has led exciting productions as a guest conductor with the Bundesjugendchor and performed Edward Elgar’s *The Music Makers* with Dalasinfoniettan.

The Gävle Symphony Orchestra boasts a rich and fascinating history, but it is always the future that drives its vision.
