Biking Gästrikland
The trail system connects Gästrikland with mountain bike trails - trails that run through magical forests, over the highest mountains, and along the finest lakes. In addition, existing courses such as Högbo outside Sandviken, Skidstavallen outside Gävle and Västerhällarna outside Järbo will be linked into the route system - together with completely new courses in several of the destinations.
It is existing trails, natural paths and in some cases smaller forest and gravel roads that are signposted - natural trails that become one with nature, natural cycling

Högbo and Medskogssjön
This trail takes you between Högbo and Medskogssjön - from Medskogssjön you can then continue towards Brattfors and Ockelbo / Jädraås.
It is a relatively easy cycle path on paths and smaller gravel roads, without any major ascents that pass both over streams and along lakes. There are three rest areas along the trail.
In Högbo there is Högbo MTB Arena with a number of tracks in different levels of difficulty as well as hotels, restaurants, bike rental etc. In Medskogssjön there is camping with a restaurant.

Kungsberget and Jädraås
The trail between Kungsberget and Jädraås runs on gravel roads and paths. It is partly relatively technical with rockier paths and narrower footbridges. At the same time, it contains a lot of longer climbs - but also nice downhill runs and in some places nice views. It passes through Jädraås wind farm, among other places, and at Ulvtorp there is a rest area with a small lookout tower.
Both at Kungsberget's ski resort and in Jädraås there is accommodation, in Jädraås there is also a petrol station / kiosk with a certain food assortment.

Brattfors and Jädraås
Between Brattfors and Jädraås, the trail runs along the old embankment after DONJ (Dala-Ockelbo-Norrsundets Järnväg) and along Kyrkvägen (which in its original route went from Gammelboning to Ockelbo). The trail is easy to cycle and consists of a combination of narrower roads and paths.
From Brattfors you can continue 4 kilometers along the embankment into Ockelbo, when you leave the embankment it is about 2 kilometers along a paved cycle path to Ockelbo center. Just when the embankment ends and the cycle path towards Ockelbo center begins, Mackgrillen / OKQ8 is located and along the road into Ockelbo you will pass, among other things, Wij rolling mill and Wij Gardens. In the center there are restaurants, café, grocery store, pharmacy etc. In Jädraås there is also a petrol station / kiosk with a certain food assortment.

Easy cycling route between Medskogssjöns Camping & Restaurant and Brattfors. Walks on paths closest to Medskogssjön and Brattfors, and in between on forest and gravel roads.
It is possible to take a difficult trail up to Mårtensklack for miles of views and windbreaks with barbecue area. If you want to take an easier way up, it is recommended that you follow the gravel road from Brattforshållet which goes almost all the way up to the top.
